Oakford Farm is a family run fishery set in tranquil surroundings in Nounsley,
Hatfield Peverel, just six miles from the nearest major road. The fishery was
built 17 years ago by Mick Hardy and was owned and run by him until March
2006. The Fishery is now run by Mick’s daughter Tina and her husband Mark
We have three lakes at Oakford Farm. Originally just the small and middle
lake were built but due to the success of the fishery, Mick extended the
middle lake and incorporated an island. Five years ago the Top Lake, was
built and has been fishing, very successfully, for the past four years
All three lakes are well stocked with carp, tench, bream, golden orfe, roach and rudd.

All lakes are fishable on a day ticket basis (available on the bank) aswell as for club match bookings (arranged in advance). There is ample on site parking which is very close to all three lakes. It is advisable to check the ‘DIARY’ page of the website or contact us a day or so before you arrive as the lakes are regularly booked for matches

The fishery remains very popular with both pleasure anglers and match fishermen from across Essex and beyond and we look forward to seeing you soon!
Situated just off of the A12 near Chelmsford Essex,
the lake is easily accessible and is just 15 mintutes minutes
from J28 of the M25.
